Here are some recent photos I took of this beautiful family. I know them from church so when they asked me to capture some updated portraits, I was eager & delighted to oblige. It was such a beautiful day, we couldn't have asked for better weather. I had a great time and am so thankful for spending it with them! [And props to my brother Stephen for assisting me] Hope you enjoy this preview :)
I met Tim & Erin last year when I took some autumn photos for them and we have kept in touch ever since. This year we took some images in their comfy home because Mother Nature decided to rain on us all day long! They are such a fun couple though, they had me laughing the whole time and their dog Molly was super cute of course.. all I had to say for her to look at me was "cookie", haha :) Here are a few of my faves. Thanks to Erin, Tim & Molly for such a great session!
I first took images of Isabella when she was about 4 months old. She just turned one so we celebrated with some autumn photos. This family is sooo nice! I know I'm not supposed to play favorites but its hard not to with them. Her cute little outfit reminded me of the movie "Where The Wild Things Are" :o) Check out Isabella & her parents, Michelle and Ira, as we took some pictures in scenic Farmington. Happy Birthday Isabella ♥
A few weeks back I was interviewed by town editor Stephanie Riefe about NILMDTS. She also interviewed a lovely couple, the Bonito's, who had me come and photograph their sweet daughter Maggie. For those of you who never heard about Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, it is a non-profit organization that offers infant bereavement photography, free of charge, to families who have lost babies during pregnancy or shortly after. The article can be found in this month's Canton LIFE and will be published in November's Farmington's LIFE, so keep your eyes open for it! :)
On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing a really wonderful family. Their two children were so stinkin' cute, I just couldn't get enough of them! :) We have the most gorgeous fall foliage here in New England, so we took advantage of the colors and did the session outdoors at the Hillstead grounds [one of my favorite places to shoot!]. Here are a few shots from our session together. Thanks so much to the Perbeck family for such a wonderful time!
I had the joy of photographing a wonderful and loving family this past weekend at their home. Victor & his wife Omo are from Nigeria. Talk about inspiring - they came to the U.S. 3 years ago with nothing, and now have a brand new house & a bouncing baby girl! After battling infertility for several years, they found out they were expecting a child, and so this miracle baby is named Emmanuella meaning "God is with us." Indeed He is! :) Here are a few photos from our session together.
I love baby yawns :)
Isn't she a doll?
Victor in his authentic African garments - don't you love it!
Aww, daddy's little girl ♥

I met Diane & Rick through my husband's cousin's girlfriend [yeah thats a mouthful!] and I am so glad I did. You know when you meet someone for the first time and you just click? Thats how it was with these two. Diane & Rick are so in love and I could feel it in the summer air! :) We had a great time walking around the historic grounds of the Hillstead Museum in Farmington. The weather was perfect - we couldn't have asked for a better day. Here are a few shots from our session together. Thanks Rick & Diane for a wonderful time.
