Liz & Riley - Pinups For Pitbulls

I had the great oppertunity to do a photo session with Liz, a pitbull lover :) She entered Pinups For Pitbulls which is a pitbull awareness & adoption non-profit. Every year they make a calendar that benefits organizations dedicated to the education and promotion of pitbull and bully breeds. The image they wanted us to recreate was kinda tricky, and unfortunately wasn't chosen to be in the calendar but we still had a wonderful time together! Here are 2 pictures of Liz & her dog Riley, after the session. She wanted a few shots of her and Riley & the tattoo she has of him on her leg. That's one dedicated owner :) Many thanks to Jen Bromley for doing the makeup and Ellen Reyes for the hair!

The Colby's: a happy heart and home!

I met Tim & Erin last year when I took some autumn photos for them and we have kept in touch ever since. This year we took some images in their comfy home because Mother Nature decided to rain on us all day long! They are such a fun couple though, they had me laughing the whole time and their dog Molly was super cute of course.. all I had to say for her to look at me was "cookie", haha :) Here are a few of my faves. Thanks to Erin, Tim & Molly for such a great session!

The Kronicks: Fall Foliage Fun!

I first took images of Isabella when she was about 4 months old. She just turned one so we celebrated with some autumn photos. This family is sooo nice! I know I'm not supposed to play favorites but its hard not to with them. Her cute little outfit reminded me of the movie "Where The Wild Things Are" :o) Check out Isabella & her parents, Michelle and Ira, as we took some pictures in scenic Farmington. Happy Birthday Isabella ♥

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep

A few weeks back I was interviewed by town editor Stephanie Riefe about NILMDTS. She also interviewed a lovely couple, the Bonito's, who had me come and photograph their sweet daughter Maggie. For those of you who never heard about Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, it is a non-profit organization that offers infant bereavement photography, free of charge, to families who have lost babies during pregnancy or shortly after. The article can be found in this month's Canton LIFE and will be published in November's Farmington's LIFE, so keep your eyes open for it! :)

Chris & Christine: a match made in heaven!

This beautiful lady happens to be one of my favorite cousins ever :) She and Chris just got engaged a few weeks ago and our family is sooo happy and excited for them both! I took them to Hubbard Park in Meriden for the first part of our engagement session. There are just so many scenic spots in that park, that I couldn't resist! Afterwards we ventured out to some cornfields near my town and got some more of these awesome images. The chemistry between these two is unreal! I didn't even have to tell them what to do, they were just so in tune with one another. I absolutely loved spending time with them and can't wait to do their wedding next year! Thanks to Chris & Christine for such a wonderful time ♥

The Perbecks: Fall Family Pictures @ the Hillstead

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing a really wonderful family. Their two children were so stinkin' cute, I just couldn't get enough of them! :) We have the most gorgeous fall foliage here in New England, so we took advantage of the colors and did the session outdoors at the Hillstead grounds [one of my favorite places to shoot!]. Here are a few shots from our session together. Thanks so much to the Perbeck family for such a wonderful time!
Look at these two! Aren't they precious? :)
Love it!

Yep, he's a little studmuffin!

One of my faves!
